> Is impression the best metric for our purpose? I want to answer: kind of... if our mission is to reach out, then it is a good metric formerly, there was an amplification metric on LinkedIn, that was interesting
-
Nÿco
so I guess, the number of retweets is kind of significant as well, but we don't know how much followers they have that's why we fall back on impressions
-
Nÿco
> Shouldn’t we also care about the target group, their interests, what they do after said impression, and such? of course: https://wiki.xmpp.org/web/Personas be my guest!

Nÿco
> what they do after said impression Twitter gives the funnel... per tweet and on our website, we still have no analytics, I'd like to deploy Matomo

vanitasvitae https://contractfortheweb.org/ is cool, but also https://savedotorg.org/ is a necessity => what should we point to?

I hope he can find a solution ✏

Nÿco
he's from the US, so quite hard to join, but that would be a great addition to our Summit
-
Guus
You will sit between him and Georg! 😃
-
Nÿco
why? (I don't get it...)
-
Guus
Georg is not a fan of Pidgin 🙂

Cool, they have shirts :-) I was looking for XMPP Shits, but didn't find.
-
Guus
We frequently have swag (shirts, hoodies), but not for sale online.

emus: jubalh (profanity dev) just mentioned in the profanity muc he has to cut down how time on profanity development as he has no funding. He created github funding and patreon as it was requested by people but nobody ever donated. You think that might be suitable for the 'calling out' section you want to introduce?✎ -

We can make it a nice way I think :)

Martin, if only every free software project could heave their funding secured :p
-
emus
Yes, but thats interestingly funny a bit

I mean I totally get jubalh's position and it'd be great if he could get time paid to work on profanity

Money is a question. My idea of the Calls sections is rather Devs do specific things which might be in the interest of others. but bormally they `keep it` to their comunity
-
emus
I wonder if he is better asked to advertise in the channels where people really use it. Right now I fear people try to maybe missuse the Calls sections in the end which doesnt support the idea in the end
-
emus
I suggest I open the Calls sections with point that I think are worth it as I imagined. Then later we can see if there is more potential. Money is a hard topic because then all other 1000 clients expect to be named there 🙄 However, If we go that way, it must be open for everyone, or? I mean everyone or no one, otherwise you will get fights which I think are not of interest
