  2. jubalh

    c/lose

  3. jubalh

    :)

  4. MattJ

    I assume that's a pelican thing

  5. Ge0rG

I'm not even sure it's incorrect

  6. Guus

MattJ Although I've been able to resolve things myself, I was unable to find help while needing help with members and summit mailinglist issues. Should I address iteam for that? The reported owner appears to be a catch-all email address at the jabber.org domain, which isn't very helpful.

  7. MattJ

    Guus: yes, address iteam

  8. Neustradamus

How can we contact iteam? ;)

  9. Guus

MattJ Is it worth updating contact info (as listed in the footer of pages like https://mail.jabber.org/mailman/listinfo/members )? Is the existing address being monitored at all? My message was stuck for about a day, which might as well have been a day off for people normally moderating things - which is perfectly fine if that's the case - but I'm not sure if someone was, indeed, notified at all. Verifying that that happens would be good. 🙂

  10. Neustradamus

At the end of this year (2019) after several months, the newsletter from January 2019 is always listed from Januray 2018: - https://xmpp.org/2019/01/the-xmpp-newsletter-31-january-2018/ Soon one year! ;)

  11. Guus

    Neustradamus stop pushing that isuse.

  12. Guus

    Neustradamus stop pushing that issue.

  13. Neustradamus

When it will be solved of course.

  14. Guus

You're annoying me (and various others), by constantly bringing it up.

  15. Guus

You have been explained over and over again why this is not solved, and that it will not be solved.

  16. Neustradamus

It is easy to solve it, I have already said it. The problem is that several people think like me but I am the reporter.

  17. MattJ

    Guus: I don't know

  18. MattJ

I know very little about mailman, let alone our setup, or who if anyone receives notifications

  19. MattJ

    I certainly don't

  20. MattJ

I can figure things out, but I didn't that day because I didn't have time to go digging

  21. MattJ

(hoped someone who already knew might chime in instead)

  22. Neustradamus

MattJ: Any news about Debian upgrade?

  23. Guus

Understandable. There's now no need to prioritize this for anything, as far as I'm concerned, but it'd be good to have figured out before we could have used the info.

  24. MattJ

Could be nobody knows, again something that needs documenting

  25. Guus

I'm guessing the usual suspects are relevant here? /me eyes ralphm Kev peter ?

  26. Kev

Busy at the moment, what do you need?

  27. Guus

Kev to know who, if anyone is behind listadmin at jabber.org. No rush though

  28. Kev

Anyone with access to the box.

  29. Guus

    the box?

  30. Guus

if you're busy, let's circle back later.

  31. Kev

Atlas. All the roots on atlas have access to admin lists.

  32. Zash

Meet yak number two: Who has access to what boxes 🙂

  33. Kev

Atlas. All the roots on atlas have access to administer all the lists.

  34. Guus

    Thanks Kev

  35. Kev

Unless you mean mailto:listadmin@jabber.org, in which case I would guess /dev/null.

  36. Kev

    # use this for list admins to avoid spam listadmin: /dev/null

  37. Kev

    And I would be right.

  38. Guus

(is that where moderation notifications go?)

  39. Kev

Depends on the list and who moderates the list.

  40. Kev

But for some of them, probably.

  41. Guus

    ok thanks
