Nÿco
basically?
Nÿco
how would you say, to attract attention?
emus
Id rather say "deutsche Übersetzer"
MattJ
Germanophones!
Nÿco
> Germanophones
that's French, at least
is the word English as well?
> ok, maybe the idea is not good...

emus
From my side is fine, but put a ! to the end
Nÿco
ok
Nÿco
if nobody opposes, I'll post that in ~15 min
Nÿco
btw pep. we're late with the French translation, sorry...
so, I've split it like proposed:
* https://wiki.xmpp.org/web/News_and_Articles_for_the_next_XMPP_Newsletter slowly moving content, process documentation, pointers
* https://wiki.xmpp.org/web/XMPP_Newsletter_November_2019 to collect links and do the copywriting
emus
Nÿco: you maybe can just retweet from jabber.de if that makes thibgs easier
Nÿco
yes
emus
but I think it should be an official one
Nÿco
right
Nÿco
there was (a) discussion(s) about retweets, retweets with comment, vs original content
Nÿco
so what should be our policy on that?
emus
Nÿco: I suggest. make an official tweet. but you can also put the link to their website in the tweet discussion if that helps. maybe a thanks to jabber.de would aslo be appropiate
emus
link of their tweet
Nÿco
indeed
Nÿco
I did dat: https://twitter.com/nyconyco/status/1182283235964936192

Martin
The debian xmpp team post should also be coming soon. Debacle waited for the Dino update to reach testing to cover some more news instead of just reposting the link to the newsletter. 😃
emus
Martin: I think its appropiate to tell that there is an translation available
debacle

hey, Wojciech from Tigase may help on the Polish translation, and also Spanish one
cool, but there is still a problem where to publish it (and if there would be interest)
emus
Wojtek: Publishing is not a problem
Wojtek
how so? all translations have relevant language websites
Wojtek
alternatively those could be put as language versions on xmpp.org
emus
Wojtek: We rather find a hostee than translater. I think jabber.de is fine to also publish other languages. I also have contact to another polish hoster
Wojtek
I mean - we could publish it on tigase.net but I think it would be better to have content in more relevant place - tigase.net is dedicated to software and also everything is in english so Polish translation of newsletter would be quite weird
Wojtek
I’ll take a look at possible options to publish Polish translation
emus
Wojtek: I think is good for people to feel more connected to a platform
emus
There lots of tech blogs in native languages apart from english
