emus: jubalh (profanity dev) just mentioned in the profanity muc he has to cut down the time on profanity development as he has no funding. He created github funding and patreon as it was requested by people but nobody ever donated. You think that might be suitable for the 'calling out' section you want to introduce? ✏

Money is a question. My idea of the Calls sections is rather Devs do specific things which might be in the interest of others. but bormally they `keep it` to their comunity

I wonder if he is better asked to advertise in the channels where people really use it. Right now I fear people try to maybe missuse the Calls sections in the end which doesnt support the idea in the end

I suggest I open the Calls sections with point that I think are worth it as I imagined. Then later we can see if there is more potential. Money is a hard topic because then all other 1000 clients expect to be named there 🙄 However, If we go that way, it must be open for everyone, or? I mean everyone or no one, otherwise you will get fights which I think are not of interest
