https://conf.tube/ might be a good PeerTube account if someone still wants to do that. Dedicated to conferences and community talks and what not (which is probably 90% of what will end up on the XSF channel)

It makes no sense not to stick to youtube, having only peertube wouldn't make sense IMO. If we have both I think we have to find a way to automate it or we'll never end up keeping up with both.

It doesn't matter; if you want to create one you're welcome to, I just think if we try to manually do both they'll just get out of sync and it will be a lot of work that will never get done.
