  1. Sam

Today is the last day for submissions, yes?

  2. Sam

Or is the newsletter already finalized?

  3. Sam

Actually, nevermind, it's for a thing that sort of already happened but I'm just getting around to publishing the announcement. I'll just wait for this month's newsletter.

  4. Sam

Actually, I do still have something that can go in if possible?

  5. Licaon_Kter

    Sam: is it from July?

  6. Sam

    Yes

  7. Licaon_Kter

    Go ahead imho

  8. Sam

Well, I just published it, but it's like the newsletter, a review of last months dev work (that will likely come out the first or second of the next month), so the content is july. I submitted a PR.

  9. Sam

I just saw that the pad was reset so I wasn't sure; thanks

Sam: So, technically it would go into the August Newsletter. But lets make an exception and the next time you publish earlier 😉

  14. Sam

emus (XSF Com. Team): I think the idea will be that I *always* publish it the next month since we won't know what all the commits are until the month is over

  15. Sam

But it makes sense to me that the newsletter would be for things that happened in the previous month, not that the specific publication date was in the month

  16. Sam

(I will, however, try to get it in before you start the draft; sorry for the late one)

  17. emus (XSF Com. Team)

Well, we need this frame to manage ressources and actually have track. its helping to keep it running and not overwork

  18. Sam

oh yah, I'm not asking for an extension, I'll try to get it out on the 1st or 2nd

  19. wurstsalat

Sam: for Gajim's Dev News I'm always skipping the last three days of a month in order to allow for translation and for the post to be published. And then it fits perfectly with the newsletter schedule :)

  20. Sam

    Fair

    > Sam escribió: > oh yah, I'm not asking for an extension, I'll try to get it out on the 1st or 2nd Yes but also some clarification: the first and the second day are techbically there to squash things together so that we have 3 days of review. Its all about resources and mamagement.
