MattJand no, I don't currently have those accounts. Kev may have.
Samhmmm, TIL, keyoxide. I'm using pass (gpg-based shared password store) with a group and this could make it easier to verify new members
MattJI used to use keybase with a team, before it got out of control - keybase added chat, VCS, cryptocurrency and then got acquired by Zoom
MattJBut when it started it was just a neat way of verifying PGP keys, and that's what keyoxide is aiming to replicate
SamYah, I remember liking the idea early on
MattJI think they even have an XMPP proof
SamThis one doesn't seem to work. My fault I'm sure, but I tried to set up WKD to fetch my key and verify my domain and it just complains that it doesn't exist even though I can verify that it's there. Probably my fault, but the WKD things I was following were all terrible and wrong, and now this provides me with no info or way to debug anything at all so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
SamTypical GPG based project.
MattJYep, I've had similar issues with things complaining my WKD is broken, though it seems to be fine
Sam*sigh* maybe it is my fault. I think zipping my site up to publish is leaving out .well-known becausee it starts with .
Samoh, I'm also using a subdomain so no idea how it would even find this if the file did exist. Oh well
emus (XSF Com. Team)MattJ: yeah, should setup my pgp again
emus (XSF Com. Team)MattJ: OMEMO is not fine? 😅
emus (XSF Com. Team)has left
emus (XSF Com. Team)has joined
MattJI don't use OMEMO on my public XMPP account :)
SamI really wish there was a way to completely disable it on Conversations. New contacts always default to it and I can't read it on any device unless I go find my phone…
Martin> I don't use OMEMO on my public XMPP account :)
Do you use PGP with XMPP?
