We're looking forward to more of the same in 2022!

and my idea is not to not advertise the core work we do here

Feel free to adapt it as you wish. They didn't complain that we hadn't been working on XEPs, they complained about clients. Ask random people who know about XMPP and they will all say that working on XEPs is all XMPP folk do ;)
