    emus: https://english.stackexchange.com/questions/10026/is-the-expression-may-or-may-not-semantically-void

  2. neox

There is always debate about this expression, but in "legal language" it is a clearer form

  3. pep.

I don't think we need legal language in this website :p

  4. Licaon_Kter

    This escalated quick :)

  5. neox

Licaon_Kter, pep.: me neither, but what some contributors told me counts for me. Some are afraid about that statement especially if we can't state that we are translating as close as possible

  6. pep.

Maybe can add something to show that even if it may not be accurate, it's not like translators were doing it on purpose, quite the opposite. « This article has been translated by volunteers. While they are doing their best, the translation may still not be accurate. [..] » ?

  7. Licaon_Kter

    This ^^^

  8. neox

    pep.: totally ok with that

  9. pep.

  10. pep.

fwiw I'd expect this to be a thing even if it wasn't volunteers doing it..

  11. pep.

    It's a translation after all

  12. pep.

    Things don't map 1:1
