it's too painful … i'm not very good at this

  3. cal0pteryx

    Trung, what were the obstacles?

  4. Trung

there are way too many concepts that has no accurate wording in Vietnamese or perhaps I don't know enough in Vietnamese

  5. Trung

i'm afraid of getting them wrong and confuse people.

  6. Trung

i got to 80% of `about/technology-overview.md` and i think i should stop for the better

  7. Trung

better spend time doing something else I think

  8. Trung

    sorry guys !

  9. Kris

    Joinjabber.org still needs a Vietnamese translation 😊

  10. Trung

i wanted to translate `xmpp.org` coz i want more Vietnamese to be aware of XMPP. `https://chat.trung.fun/tai-lieu/*.en.html` were designed to solve the same issue that `joinjabber.org` does so frankly, I don't see the point in translating it.

  11. Kris

    I get a 404 on that link

  12. Trung

    coz it wasn't a link

  13. Kris

    It looks like a link?

  14. Kris

Ah you mean because of the *?

  15. Trung

yeah also `chat.trung.fun` and `joinjabber.org` are not the only ones to join the XMPP network either. Pretty much every public services do the same thing in English and their own language.

  16. Kris

Sure, but few offer multilingual explanations like we try on joinjabber.org

  17. Trung

China and India has really big populations don't they 😊

  18. Kris

Simplified Chinese and various Indian language translations are also welcome.

  19. Kris

I think we already have a partial traditional Chinese translatiin

  20. Kris

I think we already have a partial traditional Chinese translation.

  21. Kris

Ah, no. But someone started a simplified Chinese one, but didn't get very far so far
