Hi MattJ, do you have the pdf with client compability you created for the Fosdem the recent years again?

Just for a quick heads-up: it is not yet time for translation, is it? Because the main PR isn't merged.

But don't worry about it. Whatever work I can help with for the XSF and the Newsletter makes me happy! It's life and everyday work that has me exhausted beyond the limit. Making a living over here ain't no joke .. and is not getting any easier no matter how much I stress myself.

Among other issues, we find that 9.44% backends expose information, 30.38% CoAP-speaking backends are vulnerable to denial of service attacks, and 99.84% of MQTT- and XMPP-speaking backends use insecure transport protocols (only 0.16% adopt TLS, of which 70.93% adopt a vulnerable version). π₯²

idk if I can deal with this facts .. I feel too "vulnerable" now π₯²
-
TheCoffeMaker
the test is done on vulnerable servers (listed on shodan) what is worth is that XMPP is the one that has most secure features and if u run an up to date server well configured u are covered thing that doesn't happen on COAP.. MQTT in the other had, if it is also well configured u can get a secure broker
