Good evening. Who is responsible for the list of XMPP software at xmpp.org? I would advise to add FatRat Download Manager under tools. ✏

How is that related to xmpp?

That's why I didn't find anything when searching for xmpp…

But not sure whether a tool which has not seen a release in ten years should be linked there. Anyway, not my decision. :)

I think that the SVN repository is the current repository. In any case, the developer does maintain a package of it at https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/fatrat-git ✏

Isn't that more a list of software that helps with deployments etc? Doesn't look like an exhaustive list of software that is related to xmpp. But then again there is no explaination what it is

I think it is valid for a couple of reasons: 1) It is one of its kind. 2) It will increase awareness of utilizing this practice with more software.

Just think of the awareness matter. If more people be aware of this possibility and _see_ that libraries are already available to utilize for development, then qBitTorrent, Transmission et al. and other software might add XMPP as a default, consequently leading to increase of the utilization of XMPP by more and more people.

We don't list phpBB either, and it offers xmpp contact addresses in their vcard feature ;)

I'd say software using xmpp in a broader sense should be listed

cal0pteryx. XMPP contact is only an entry. Unless phpBB offers integration with XMPP, then I do not think that it would be useful to the list.
