Hello. I looked at the "XMPP Software Comparison" page: https://xmpp.org/software/software-comparison/

  2. esbeeb

And I noted in the chart that the "Conversations" app is not listed as supporting XEP-0077 In-Band Registration. Is that true? I've been able to sign up new accounts In-band using Conversations for months now. I'm using the latest Conversations app from F-Droid

  3. esbeeb

I'm signing up to a Prosody 0.12.3 server in Debian 12

  4. esbeeb

It's configured to accept these in-band registrations, which is not the default

  5. nicola

    Test

  6. cal0pteryx

esbeeb: you best ask that in the Conversations support chat. xmpp.org just takes the data provided by Conversations

Hey all, I am still not up amd running with my setup. However, I managed to review the newsletter amd it looks great! gnemmi can you - put the summit blogpost in a separate PR? - I think the Berlin sprint is missing - Have you managed to do a spell check?

  10. gnemmi

emus: in re summit blog post. Do you need a new PR with the same file?

  11. emus

in re summit blog post, what do you mean?

  12. gnemmi

cal0pteryx: did some corrections on it. But yes. I can pick that file and create a new PR for it if you want me too

  13. cal0pteryx

is there a reason to have a separate PR for the summit post?

  14. gnemmi

cal0pteryx: Oh there you are!. Sorry for all the urls you had to fix. I didn't know there was change in regards to that. I would have used the relative path (instead of the full url) if I had know about that. Sorry for that 😞

  15. cal0pteryx

gnemmi, no worries, I think we always did it with full URLs in the past. But generally the domain is added by Hugo when building the page, so it's not needed :)

  16. gnemmi

Yes. We always used the full path until now. That was the reason why I used them that way. Will use the relative path from now on 👍

  17. gnemmi

    Thank you! 🤗

    > gnemmi, no worries, I think we always did it with full URLs in the past. But generally the domain is added by Hugo when building the page, so it's not needed :) Yes, there is a reason. I think we should write it more as a blog post not than how we documented it.

  19. cal0pteryx

emus, but who will do that? I won't

  20. emus

At least we can call for volunteers, right?

  21. cal0pteryx

Sure, but better sooner than later, otherwise this becomes irrelevant :)

  22. emus

Done. However, dont think this will become irrelevant soon

  23. cal0pteryx

    Done where?

  24. emus

    summit chat

I really don't remember seeing that page on the wiki before I created the Newsletter PR .. but it could've been there and scaped me. Anyways, it is fixed now 🙂
