    Schimon, I think it's normally up to the project to decide. if they're able to participate in GSoC, and then they can coordinate with the XSF accordingly by adding their project to the wiki etc. ✎

    I'm not sure. how it'd work for Falkon which is not (yet) an XMPP project? I'm sure the XSF would be happy to work wotk them but you should first check if the Falkon maintainers are open to it
