I think, that Converse is expected to perform well with mobile devices that utilize SXMO.

One of the main issue with Converse is the fact that it relies on the in-browser storage, that is actually kinda limited. Wondering how things will be handled there, especially with the social network part :)

I hope for the best, and I am willing to test. I suppose, that the desktop version should be able to store data on local storage (e.g. ~/.local/share/converse/ and ~/.cache/converse/).

Converse runs in a browser no ?
