  1. ralphm

    Hi!

  2. stpeter

    hallo Ralph!

  3. Kev

    Hi.

  4. Tobias

    hi

  5. Kev

Well remembered, I'm trying to rebuild my router on a USB stick, as the 2.5inch internal hard drive failed and I don't have a spare.

  6. linuxwolf

    /-:

  7. Kev

You might ask why I need a Linux router, in addition to my ISP's - and that's because I have vaguely complicated multiple-subnet setups where some subnets can route over NAT over a VPN into Isode, while my wife's games machine, the X-Box etc. can't.

  8. Kev

As well as faking DNS, naturally :)

  9. stpeter

    heh

  10. linuxwolf

actually, I assumed it was because you are a Geek, and have need/want of something more

  11. linuxwolf

    (-:

  12. ralphm

stpeter: were you aware of http://sipsimpleclient.com/wiki/DesignXMPP

  13. stpeter

    ralphm: no

  14. ralphm

Adrian Georgescu passed me a note about Wokkel being chosen for the project.

  15. stpeter

    nice

  16. ralphm

And this appears to be a NLNet thing

  17. stpeter

    aha

  18. stpeter

yeah, they are interested in such projects

  19. Tobias

http://nlnet.nl/project/current.html interesting...they also funded a DNSSEC for Jitsi project

  20. stpeter

ralphm: is Adrian working on that?

  21. stpeter notes that they link to the old gatewaying specs

  22. stpeter

perhaps someday we'll finish those off

  23. ralphm

stpeter: yes. ag-projects is his thing (note the initials)

  24. ralphm

stpeter: http://www.nlnet.nl/project/xmpp-sip/ is the NLNet page

  25. stpeter

    thanks for the pointer

  26. Kev

    Right.

  27. Kev

Nothing to discuss, so let's abort quickly.

  28. Kev

    1) Roll call.

  29. Kev

    I'm here.

  30. stpeter

    might be related to http://www.ietf.org/id/draft-ivov-xmpp-cusax-00.txt

  31. linuxwolf

    presente

  32. MattJ

    Here

  33. Tobias

    here

  34. Kev

And given he's mid conversation, Ralph probably is too :)

  35. Kev

I'm not wrong about having no agenda items for today am I?

  36. ralphm

    haha

  37. linuxwolf

    nothing that I saw

  38. MattJ

172 perhaps, but we can push it off for a week - I haven't looked at it

  39. Kev

I thought Peter asked for 172 for next week.

  40. MattJ

    I again assumed no-agenda-no-meeting

  41. Kev

    MattJ: I was quite clear on-list, I think :)

  42. ralphm

Kev: you're on the internet. Of course you are wrong

  43. MattJ

I think he probably assumed the same :)

  44. linuxwolf

    ralphm: obviously

  45. Kev

    Ok then.

  46. Kev

    2) Date of next meeting

  47. Kev

    Week today?

  48. linuxwolf

    wfm

  49. Tobias

    sure

  50. ralphm

    +1

  51. MattJ

    +1

  52. Kev

    3) AOB?

  53. stpeter

    I like to have a meeting, even if it's a no-meeting meeting

  54. stpeter

    :)

  55. linuxwolf

    none from me

  56. stpeter

    I got nothin'

  57. MattJ

    Likewise

  58. Tobias

    dito

  59. linuxwolf waits for gavel

  60. ralphm

stpeter: I too like the feeling of having accomplished something :-)

  61. Kev

Excellent. See you good chaps next week.

  62. Kev

    Thanks all

  63. Kev nags the vabel.

  64. MattJ

Oh well, I'm fine with anything consistent :)

  65. MattJ

Otherwise I find it hard to keep up

  66. Kev

    I'm trying to be consistent.

  67. MattJ

But if we're on Wednesdays and into agenda-free meetings now, I'm fine

  68. MattJ

You're all just conspiring to confuse me

  69. stpeter update the calendar

  70. Kev

    Thanks Peter.

  71. ralphm

MattJ: I'm still curious about the confusement. We just meet every week in the same timeslot (now) and sometimes we declare it over pretty soon.

  72. stpeter

ralphm: I think we did Tuesday for a few weeks

  73. ralphm

    now /that/ was confusing :-D

  74. stpeter

    :)

  75. MattJ

Indeed, apparently it wasn't permanent - I thought it was

  76. MattJ

    My mistake, but confusing

  77. MattJ

and surely I didn't imagine all the weeks we've skipped meetings due to having nothing on the agenda?

  78. ralphm

seriously though, thanks to having someone keeping the ics in sync, my exo-corteces take care of the rest.

  79. Kev

MattJ: No, we've done that in the past. It then occurred to me that maybe it's better to maintain momentum and meet anyway.

  80. MattJ

Sure, and I probably prefer that too

  81. MattJ

    It's just the transition I can't deal with :)

  82. MattJ

and I didn't see a conscious decision to change this on the mailing list

  83. Kev

    I suggested, no-one objected.

  84. MattJ

    I guess I missed that

  85. MattJ

But like I said, I'm fine with it

  86. Kev

You even replied to the mail in which I suggested it :)

  87. MattJ

I was waiting for you to say something like that

  88. MattJ sighs

  89. stpeter

    :)
