    I don't think there's any mercurial magic custom repo thing and the scripts we have are all broken if you try to just clone the git repo and use it.

    regarding message processing hints, there is an ongoing discussion on the mailing list, and ideally we'd come to a conclusion there soon so this can either continue as the current XEP or be split up in the respecive XEPs that use the hint. I think these are the current options on the table.
