4) XSF Editor Infrastructure update

According to Kev, the editor should now be able to do their duties.

However SamWhited said he still can't send mails, so for announcing new protoxeps for example, right?

Email is still broken, the build takes upwards of an hour (which is technically not a blocker, but by the time it's done you've wandered off and forgotten what you were doing), and you have to ping someone on the iteam to actually publish the site. Since people from the iteam are busy and/or not around all the time, this means it's still not really practical to begin publishing things again

Right. Maybe someone can bring that up in the upcoming board meeting. I'm traveling when that happens.

Can take a look over the weekend if I can fix some of the currently broken iteam'ish things...

Tobias, Well, in practise, no. But it'd be nice if it were ready to be updated once the infrastructure is back running.

It's utterly unfair to not even respond to the discussion just because we might not be able to immediately action any decisions.

I see no mention of officially pinging someone anywhere in our documents.

Yah, I don't know; I don't know that it matters either. I just meant sending out the email that the editor guides say authors will get when a PR is submitted

Also, from XEP-0001, §6: " In order to fully participate in discussion of the proposal, the XEP author should be subscribed to the Standards list, which is the primary venue for discussion of XMPP Extension Protocols."
