jonas’they have open LCs, some for nearly a year now
dwdThey fall into this wedge state of Proposed, mostly, I think. We did mean to do something about that problem. But XEP-0359, at least, is OK - that we can just vote on for Draft once its LC ends, can't we?
jonas’oh, I meant to elide that from the list
Berkjonas’, see also: https://github.com/xsf/xeps/issues/577
BerkI recall a decision to push them back to experimental
jonas’reads minutes from that meeting
dwdI can't even rememebr if we did vote to advance-or-not. But we cannot, under XEP-0001, push them back to Experimental unfortunately. I can't recall if we decided we probably could as long as nobody looked / we squinted / we bribed someone.

XEP-0352: move back to Experimental
Concil vote from 2018-02-07.
jonas’no need to bribe
jonas’the process is clearly broken
dwdYeah. Technically counter to XEP-0001, though.
jonas’I suggest to ignore the process here and put fixing of hte process on the agenda
dwdActually, anyone can fix the process, but Board needs to approve the fix.
jonas’council might wanna think about what we want
jonas’also, don’t you even have a meeting in 5min?
dwdWe do indeed.
dwdAlthough I didn't do an agenda because... well, I was on a train yesterday during my "Council Prep" slot, actually.
dwd1) Is There Anybody Out There?
jonas’is, but nobody cares :)
dwdI care. :-)
jonas’well, not the roll call and quorum check
peterI'm confused. We've always just moved things back to Experimental.
dwdBy fire and by brimstone, I call upon SamWhited.
Ge0rGGood morning everyone!
peterBut I'll leave that up to the Board and Council to decide, I'm just an interloper at this point. ;-)
dwdpeter, Well, possibly we have. But according to XEP-0001...
Kevpeter: We always have. Our process says we can't, but we always have.
petergoes back to $dayjob stuff
jonas’points at peter and shouts "Interloper!"
dwdOK, full house.
Ge0rGdwd: it's morning in UGT
dwd2) Items for a vote.
dwdI don't *think* we have any, but I confess I didn't do much prep for this meeting as I was on leave yesterday and Monday.
Ge0rGSomebody ought to sort out the Spreadsheet of Doom to determine the actually expired votes and to put them up for re-election
dwdYes, that's very much on me to do.
Ge0rGdwd: is it also on your todo?
dwdGe0rG, It's on my to do list to put it on my todo list, yes.
dwdBut in the absence of anything to actually vote on:
Ge0rG...to put it on the Agenda.
dwdI lost count.
Ge0rGThere are Council elections upcoming.
KevAOB: Decison on number systems to use for counting agendums.
dwdYes, and currently candidates are... sparse.
jonas’AOB: reminder of the currently in progress and not yet expired LC
Ge0rGActually, the next Council meeting will be after the closing of the Council election candidate submission deadline.
