I vaguely remember blocking that XEP before, because it should not define the semantics of the different hints but merely the syntax, but then it's rather shallow.

wrt the heated debates I think the situation has changed too. XEPs that use it have become more mature etc

anyway, not going to block heated debates, so +1 for LC

it was never the point of immature XEPs, it was a point of "hints can't tell you how to process every kind of hint"

conceptually, hints belong into the respective XEP that can define their meaning and consequences

OK. passed so it means the editors can go ahead

personally, I wish Hints never had existed.

The 2023 compliance suite got accepted as experimental today

Other than that I feel like the last weeks have been rather quiet
