> > ie "this is still the way to do SOAP over XMPP, but we doubt anyone is still doing SOAP" > Final seems to communicate that well to me "Final" to me says "this is still the way to do SOAP over XMPP", and that's it, right? > In particular because final already contains the "unlikely to be updated" part in the rules on how Final xeps may be changed The XEP itself won't change, but that says nothing of the underlying tech. Also the XEP may be updated by another XEP :P

It's just so broad, onboarding for what

That's what I mean though, what kind of development, client, server, UI, IoT, push notifications etc etc
-
moparisthebest
It's a good idea I just think you need to narrow it down
-
pep.
Well the proposition from tmolitor is good I think. No need to be on the defensive
-
moparisthebest
Oh I agree I was talking about emus' onboarding material
-
pep.
Well that's part of it :)
-
pep.
And I agree with emus' comment anyway
-
pep.
Let's not shot them down because there's nothing concrete at the moment :)

moparisthebest
I wasn't, I think it's a good idea too, I was just saying it probably needs to be focused to be really good

Well it could be basic and advanced things to do with the protocol. people usually come with expectation to do something right? or understamding of core elements. I dont know, I would be happt to support something like this, but I cannot write or record it
