oh the Link Mauve one. yes I just responded to that asking Link Mauve to rebase and fix conflicts

larma, in absence of such a xep personally i'd be happy to merge those two PRs for now. i mean I don’t think that the changes will be wrong

they may or may not just duplicate what ever that hypothetical xep will say

plus personally i don’t think the "what id to use" is that complicated if we ignore our brief detour with origin-id
