FWIW, I've got a bunch of notes on Spaces that's been on my TODO list to write up, that don't exactly match, but I don't think that should prevent accepting this one, unless Council's not going to allow a second submission.

I've seen the XEP but I haven't had any time to read it not the discussion, so I can't vote now, I'll be on-list or next week.

I'm concerned about duplication here, when it can be avoided. Kev, MattJ : isn't it possible to merge the work?

personal opinion: now that Nico moved first MattJ and Kev should probably try to have their use cases covered by that XEP
