A very late agenda just went out. If you are not ready to vote that's understandable and absolutely fine. Depending on how things go I can extend the voting period to 3 weeks

Sorry to miss the meeting time

The forums one I'm not sure about. goffi this describes what libervia currently does I assume?
-
goffi
singpolyma: More or less. I've adapted to Pubsub Social Feed, do there will be small namespaces changes. But this is the mechanism used yes
-
goffi
I'm using flat forums to convert mailing list. The other one is useful for things à la Reddit or Hackernews.
-
goffi
s/do there/so there/
-
singpolyma
How is a flat forum different from social feed generally? I think a comparison or overview of when this is needed might be helpful
-
goffi
The main thing about social feed is the profile, so the client knows how to handle the view. The forums are basically social feeds, with dedicated profiles.
-
goffi
Blog hand forum have similar payload, but different view.✎ -
goffi
Blog and forum have similar payload, but different view. ✏
-
goffi
On other words, a forum is a social feed.
-
singpolyma
so there's no protocol level difference?
-
goffi
Small constraints. A single comment node. And the way replies to are handled.
-
singpolyma
does social stream allow multiple comment nodes?
-
goffi
PSF doesn't specify comments yet, it's basically XEP-0277 which is Atom, which AFAIK doesn't limit the number of comments URI, so yes they are allowed.
-
singpolyma
how does it not specify comments yet? we've had that for years I thought
