What are people doing for authentication and IoT nodes? Do you create a separate account for each node, just share the password across every node and hope you don't have to change the password?

  12. jjrh

I know there was some talk of people working on a spec for temp passwords or a token type thing (scan this qr code and we authenticate the session)

  13. jjrh

wondering what solutions people are doing right now however.

  18. MattJ

The devices register their own account on the server (with a static/random password or based on serial number or whatever)

  19. jjrh

Trying to find it on google - is there another name for it?
