its mathieui and he used a very old poezio version for a long time

i dont see this problem now with poezio users

The name attr on the identity gives a human readable name for your client

i see no reason why you would send whole disco info, with all kind of features you support, the info that you are a client, even that you are a console client

but then omit the name

its not a big issue, but i think its a bug and not intended

Gajim has a plugin that displays client icons in the tooltip of the user

but what we first try is to display the name on the identity

the way the client wants to be displayed to users, not what Gajim developers think :)
