  1. MattJ

Yay, people not blaming SQLite for once :)

  2. MattJ

Sure it has its limitations, but I think it got a bad reputation from PHP/web devs who tried to use it concurrently from multiple HTTP request workers and decided it was a toy database for dev purposes only

  3. MattJ

It scales really well in the dimensions it was designed to scale in

  4. Link Mauve

MattJ, I was just saying that sqlite calls dominate a profile while doing MAM sync, with Dino at 100% CPU usage.

  5. Link Mauve

Not blaming the tool or Dino atm, I don’t know where the issue is.

  6. lovetox

jonas’, is the server behind muclumbus open source?

  7. lovetox

    the fetching, database etc

  8. lovetox

    crawler ..

  9. jonas’

    lovetox, yes

  10. jonas’

    lovetox, https://github.com/horazont/muchopper

  11. jonas’

lovetox, why are you asking? :)

  12. lovetox

debacle, just mentioned he wants to setup a part federated network of internal company (?!) servers

  13. lovetox

i thought about that, and in this scenario there is no way to have a good way to search the mucs in the partly federated internal network

  14. lovetox

the only solution would be to host such a service you do

  15. lovetox

in Gajim you can specify in config the http endpoint

  16. jonas’

    indeed

  17. jonas’

maybe debacle will package it then, that’s on my long long long long todo list :)

  18. debacle

jonas’ You did most if not all packaging work of python3-aioxmpp etc. right? If you do that for muchopper, I'm sure, I'll sponsor the package!
