On other chat platforms, some people get aggro if you jump to prvt messages.

I am unhappy about people PMing me out of the blue, but if I had the wiki-account-creator-role, I would have to deal with that

fdroid's auto update detection was already triggered, 0.5.12 is in fdroiddata. not sure when it will reach the fdroid repos

cannot reinstall main for above reasons

without an idea what is going on, I can only suggest to remove every MAXS component and then install them again in the 0.5.12 version

(by "does not see the XMPP transport" I mean that it asks me to install a transport when I tap "Start service")

i want to implement the secret key sharing, and need a another impl to test with

lovetox, a library, and it's rather crude (still in development, may be harder to use than a client) -- <https://git.uberspace.net/rexmpp/>. The basic.c example can upload a key with "k <fingerprint>", and the weechat plugin example handles messages using that XEP. I plan to add a more usable UI next, but it's not there yet.
