yeah, i just dont feel thats a problem, because the server acts as a natural queue

BUT ... my client freezes, because it somehow cant deal with the flood of data ...

Look into reducing the amount of presence you'll receive back? (There's two specs?) And maybe also delay MAM until you need it?
