There's also Stroke that I wrote years ago because Smack was a desperate mess, but a) Stroke's pretty much maintenance-only now as I don't need it to do any more than it does and b) I understand Smack has improved a great deal since then.

So I'd look at Smack first, and only if that doesn't work for you, look at Stroke.

yeah, I hadn't had a good impression of Smack at first, but it might have been 8 years ago or so, I should give it a second chance, thanks jonas’ & Kev :)
