if a muc service receives a message from a "non-joined" full JID, what should it reply? some error I guess but I fail to find which one.

In Prosody we return "cancel", "not-acceptable", "You are not currently connected to this chat"

Apparently fosshost is shutting down, but I didn't get a notification at least. Just FYI since I know several projects on here were using them for hosting.

Their website makes it sound like the server could go offline at any moment.
