    >>>When several Delivery Services are involved in relaying messages, it is important that all of them agree on which one is responsible for ordering handshake messages of a specific group at any given time in order to enforce the total ordering of handshake messages required by the MLS protocol. This is from the federated mls rfc. So my question is: Doesnt this mean that mls in a p2p or federated/distributed room model is not possible?

Or can i just disable ordering in xmpp?

  4. singpolyma

I don't see why federated rooms means you can't have ordering per se

  7. wgreenhouse

  8. wgreenhouse

it was key to their plans for e2ee over bridges
