  1. Guus

I'm looking for someone that can help me test a ejabberd community module. https://github.com/processone/ejabberd-contrib has a new module, named mod_pubsub_serverinfo. It should add a new feature in the advertisement of your server's disco/info. Could someone try that, please?

  2. Guus

(installing it signals to other servers that they can name your server in statistics that they publish)

Guus, xmpp:operators@muc.xmpp.org?join may be a better place to ask

  4. Guus

I was debating if it was more dev or op related :)

  5. Guus

    But I shall crosspost... (apologies)

  6. jonas’

no apologies necessary, I think this is a good thing to ask in multiple places

  7. Guus

I'm just waiting for you to answer me in there that jdev@ might be a better place to ask. ;)

  9. Martin

Does any server besides ejabberd dev support xep 474 yet?

  10. MattJ

    Prosody, Snikket

  12. Martin

    Nice, thanks. :)

  13. Martin

MattJ: I loaded the module but I don't see any `d=` part in the challenge. Does it for some reason require a full server restart?

  14. MattJ

I doubt it needs a full restart, but you might need to reload the SASL modules or something

  15. MattJ

    mod_saslauth, mod_sasl2, etc.

  16. Martin

    Ah, makes sense. Thanks.

  17. Martin

Hmm, reloaded all ^sasl* modules but didn't change anything, so I went for full restart but also to no avail. :(

  18. MattJ

What version of Prosody? It might need a recent trunk

  19. MattJ

Yes, according to the doc it needs https://hg.prosody.im/trunk/rev/33e5edbd6a4a

  20. Martin

    Let's take this to prosody@ :)
