Morning's experience with Matrix: answering a few message from Element X (Android). Then, opening the room in Nheko: my messages appear wrapped in weird <mx-reply>. In neochat: my messages don't appear at all In element (web) : my messages content don't appear: "Unable to load event that was replied to, it either does not exist or you do not have permission to view it." And in the thread view, some messages appear unordered (yesterday's messages as more recent than today's) I think Matrix is the best advert for discord & al. ✏

To be fair, bugs exist in all software… funny to read anyway ;)

I think it's kinda funny how they've pretty much admitted that the mobile experience (both platforms) is so bad they need to rewrite the apps _again_ ↺

Emoji is currently ruled by factors from the advertisement industry and they apparently ignore the need of adding an RSS emoji. The Unicode Organization is a joke by allowing this icon 🤳 and ignoring the RSS icon. The Unicode board is also ruled by people from the advertisement industry. I sense that Nerd Fonts will eventually form itself into an alternative Unicode set. ✏

While I am not fond of emojis, nor even the name of this brand itself, I think it is important to have an icon representation of RSS.

This let's you do that though...
