    Schimon: Firefox sync has always been private and since it's the only browser I'm not sure what the problem is 🙃

    moparisthebest. There are other solutions that are not of FF. Doing this task with XMPP will further encourage to standartize such system, instead of reinventing it.

    Standardize for what though? The web is a standard yet there are barely 2 implementations

    Nowadays it's something like 98% chrome and 2% Firefox, web isn't interested in standards
