    > Hi! A question to people hosting their code at https://codeberg.org/ > What's your experience with the service so far? Which challenges did you face during migration to the service? Does the CI offer what you need or are there any constraints you experienced? > Ok, I agree that's more than one question :) It is reasonable - there have been a few issues with uptime recently. Fedora have adopted Foregjo to use as a self hosted forge. Web based workflow is beginner friendly. However, find Sourcehut more efficient to use.

I've been using Disroot's instance and it's served me well, although I haven't used the advanced features like CI. Migration of repos from GitLab was pretty seamless (I didn't have wiki's etc. to migrate, but there were options for those too)

We use Codeberg for the Prav project, including Codeberg Pages and the CI. I can't compare to other systems since I haven't used them, but since it's Docker-based it can do almost anything you want

As mentioned, Codeberg has been facing uptime issues of late (which I hear is due to suspected right-wing DDoS attacks?) which is something I can live with and Prav has decided to go with it too, for now. But if you want to host something mission-critical that you can't afford going down for a few hours you might want to consider a different instance (or buckle down and donate 😎)

edhelas. Do you know what is the purpose of this message? ``` <title type="xhtml"> <div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" class="if-your-feed-reader-displays-this-then-it-is-violating-the-Atom-spec-RFC-4287-section-4.2.14"/> </title> ``` https://tantek.com/updates.atom (Atom Syndication Format)

  7. singpolyma

    Which part?

  8. edhelas

Maybe the answer to your questions sits in the Atom Spec RFC 4287 section 4.2.14

  9. Schimon

edhelas. I did see it. But I do not see where is there any mention that title is optional.

  10. Schimon

singpolyma. This Atom feed has no title.

  11. Schimon

singpolyma. The entries of that Atom feed hasve no title, with an exception of one.

  12. singpolyma

The title isn't missing its empty

  13. singpolyma

Title tag is required but it's not required to be nonempty

  14. Schimon

I understand. Thank you for this clarification.

  15. Schimon

I understand. Thank you for this clarification. singpolyma.

I would use the date of an entry instead, unless there is a better solution.
