When parsing open graph data, we could fall back to use a page's `<title>Page title</title>` tag and `<meta name="description" content="page description"/>`. What do you think? singpolyma?

  2. singpolyma

    yes I do that

  3. cal0pteryx

cal0pteryx: I don't know how "bad" it would be to do fill opengraph data with more than strictly opengraph tags, cf <https://pypi.org/project/linkpreview/> that "augments" link metadata with some non-standardized stuff.

I just checked, and Facebook, LinkedIn, X, and WhatsApp all _do_ parse these non-og elements, at least as a fallback. I don't think there is any harm there
