Are there any clients that put reactions in a SCE? (When the conversation is OMEMO encrypted) ✏
-
Cynthia
I've seen a lot of clients that don't and instead put the reaction unencrypted
-
singpolyma
Are there any that use omemo2? Otherwise they don't use SCE
-
singpolyma
I used to refuse to send reactions when omemo was on but the ecosystem disagreed with me

Cynthia

But if we remove libraries and servers from that list it's only atalk beside the other two. ↺

singpolyma: SCE is just a generalisation of a concept, it does not provide any benefits imo over what we already have

If a user asks for SCE they mean full stanza encryption, and we have that with the current openpgp dpec✎ -
