Are there any clients that put reactions in a SCE?

  2. Cynthia

Are there any clients that put reactions in a SCE? (When the conversation is OMEMO encrypted)

  3. Cynthia

I've seen a lot of clients that don't and instead put the reaction unencrypted

  4. singpolyma

Are there any that use omemo2? Otherwise they don't use SCE

  5. singpolyma

I used to refuse to send reactions when omemo was on but the ecosystem disagreed with me

  6. Cynthia

    Oh

  7. singpolyma

    omemo2 = SCE

  8. Cynthia

So are there any that use SCE?

  9. Menel

Kaidan and some I can't remember the name

  10. Menel

    Moxxy I think

  11. lovetox

Gajim soon with the integration of OpenPGP

  12. Link Mauve

All the ones listing 0.8+ here: https://xmpp.org/extensions/#xep-0384-implementations As well as all the ones listed here: https://xmpp.org/extensions/#xep-0373-implementations

  13. singpolyma

Once the new xep is ready?

  14. Menel

    > All the ones listing 0.8+ here: https://xmpp.org/extensions/#xep-0384-implementations > As well as all the ones listed here: https://xmpp.org/extensions/#xep-0373-implementations Nice didn't know that list. But if we remove libraries and servers from that list it's only atalk beside the other two.

  15. lovetox

singpolyma: SCE is just a generalisation of a concept, it does not provide any benefits imo over what we already have

  16. lovetox

If a user asks for SCE they mean full stanza encryption, and we have that with the current openpgp dpec

  17. lovetox

If a user asks for SCE they mean full stanza encryption, and we have that with the current openpgp spec

  18. Cynthia

    I meant SCE with OMEMO

  19. Cynthia

    Not SCE with PGP

  20. lovetox

Yes you need to look for clients that support omemo2

  21. lovetox

    #รถ+0,

  22. lovetox retracted a previous message, but it's unsupported by your client.

  23. lovetox

    hm cant join xsf anymore

  24. una

I too was not able to join. It works now
