also again libstrophe is pretty minimal, and the wrapping i did was pretty purpose built

like it should work fine, but i mainly added what i needed

the repo i sent i mainly made for easier sharing because i predicted id be discussing it with people here and there

libqxmpp only links against QtXML, Network, and Core tho...no GUI component. It does link against loads of other things tho....so still a big library.

i think i mainly saw it requiring everything to be qt's string type and figured id rather deal with stinky old c code

also despite taking a lot of work to kinda solidify how i wanted to do it, my little bit of wrapper code is pretty simple and imo creates a pretty clean interface for particularly IQs which is the main thing i needed
