There appears to be a number of non-tech communities considering leaving whatsapp. Some are considering telegram but if we can offer a solid XMPP-based alternative then :-)

    It's not like communities can always just up&leave their platform. The ones I know are trying, but they won't succeed if they can't offer the community (not small group) a suitable alternative.

    No, you need an external script to provide the necessary stats
