    Why are people limiting stanza sizes anyways? Is there a reason to?

    Seems to mainly just cause interoperability issues

    tom, yes, to avoid an easy DoS, since there is only one XML stream between two hosts a single huge stanza would prevent every other user on this server from reaching your users.
