    zp1: I love it.

  2. arcseconds

I've been to Malaysia a couple of times, def. know the phenomenon of hawkers working out of tiny little stalls, think I was more fixated on the noodles rather than rice...

  3. arcseconds

    jonas' : nice :-)

  4. sam

I moved my server from managed to self-hosted and there are some s2s connections still active stopping me from messaging certain servers, any ideas on how long these will take to resolve?

  5. Menel

You mean some server are still connected to the offline, selfhosted server, even tho the dns records are changed to the new one?

  6. tek_dmn

Hey I think I'm up snd stable now (said 30 seconds before it crashes)

  7. MattJ

sam, you should ask your provider to resolve this by closing them

  8. jonas’

(after you waited for 2 DNS TTLs to expire...)

  9. zp1.net

I think I need to restart my server too, I only understand half of what you say :))))

    Heads up apache users https://cve.mitre.org/cgi-bin/cvename.cgi?name=CVE-2021-41773

  11. Licaon_Kter

Heads up apache users https://cve.mitre.org/cgi-bin/cvename.cgi?name=CVE-2021-41773 POC? `127.0.0.1/cgi-bin/.%2e/%2e%2e/%2e%2e/%2e%2e/etc/passwd`

  12. Menel

Good that debian isnt at that version yet :-) And I deny everything by default, for every vhost.

  13. zp1.net

That's stupid nginx propaganda. It is a 25 years old scam

  14. zp1.net

I give you a copy of my passwd file no user has ssh rights and the only virtual users whi have it have no home and use keys

  15. Menel

    😃

  16. zp1.net

They want to replace apache with nginx. I already uograde only devuan packages. And soon it will replace the kernel and the libc.

  17. Martin

    nginx is the new systemd?

  18. zp1.net

    No, the new apache.

  19. Martin

So apache provided kernel and libc?

  20. Martin

    I can't follow you…

  21. zp1.net

    No the same people.

  22. Holger

Version 7 Unix kernel + libc were the real thing. Since then, people kept replacing things with cheap plastic imitations.

  23. arcseconds

what are you talking about? Unix was a plot to replace Multics.

  24. arcseconds

They were quite open about it!
