Hi. I have a problem under Mint, but I just tested with a fresh VM of Ubuntu 22 LTS. Installing reports an error "Could not execute systemctl: at /usr/bin/deb-systemd-invoke line 142." In the error log I see "Cannot send READY=1 notification: {badmatch,{error,eacces}}", several "Cannot ping watchdog: {badmatch,{error,eacces}}" and eventually "External eimp process (pid=2197025) has terminated unexpectedly, restarting in a few seconds". Eventually ejabberd restarts but the process repeats. Previously ejabberd was working fine with older versions of Mint. I have tried many changes in ejabberd.yml but so far there is no resolution. Any ideas?

I'm sure quite a few people here run ejabberd, but there's a higher concentration of ejabberd users and developers over there, so you'll be more likely to get the help you need
