Any updates on the jabber.de Server? I still cannot connect.

yes MUC does work but I cannot login to my account any more and I cannot find their mail pgp key to report it -- to nonencrypted they do not respond (according to theri website). No response via jabber.

admin (jabber.de), I tried Gajim, profanity and Movim. I've sent the logs to the JID yu provide on your webpage. I could not find your mail gpg key anywhere.

Yes, it wasnt working for a trashserver.net user. But for me it works so I thought its a serverside problem

There was an issue while removing a large number of spam accounts that caused the server to hang. It is back now.

eevvoor: are you trying direct TLS on 443? XMPP-dns test hangs at > xmpps-client jabber.de. 443

StartTLS/5222 and DirectTLS/5223 seem to be OK.

I guess Gajim tries that when 5222 fails. I see no reason Gajim should not first try the standard 5222

and these seem to be hiccups since now I can connect again

admin (jabber.de): No worries. At least it showed me a bug in xmpp-dns as well (timeout was only used for connection but not for TLS handshake). 😂
