    To the jabber.de Admins, did you recently upgraded your OS? I had issues with a webservers MariaDB after upgrading from bullseye to bookworm. The server run out of memory and MariaDB crashed without logfile entry. My temporary workaround was upgrading memory.

    jabber.de update: We migrated from MySQL to Postgres as Prosody was not creating the correct indexes on MySQL. So far it is working much better but time will tell.
