Make it active again ? This is "XMPP-Service-Operator"-MUC, I think there is no need to write about e.g. mobiles if there is no server running on it.

The bot was an aid to the admins, nothing more

People sometimes use non admin accounts here

Sometimes the room is set to moderated because of spammers, and then it helps to be logged in as a known server admin to get member rights.

ernst.on.tour, when the room is in moderated mode, yes, you have to be a member to write. We make people a member manually, and the bot automated some of our work.
