In the near future Element will give access to 1:1 chat with wa. WA will change terms and conditions starting from 11th of april

my 85 years father and 81 mother are using xmpp (off course) but also WhatsApp, if they could chat with their wa friends using XMPP could be a good win

I've only used it for Signal, Discord, and Telegram ↺

the question was in regards to dma and if an xmpp operator has cut a deal with Meta to get access to WA apis
