  2. roughnecks

    > roughnecks: all fixed now then? hope so. Had issues in the recent past too with an application and experimented dnssec and over tls on and off for resolved.conf anyway, other servers still resolved just fine while broccoli failed, so not really sure what the problem is

You said you are enforcing DNSSEC, maybe it is due to DNSSEC failing to verify their record?

Does anyone have suggestions for free DNS providers that support DNSSEC that aren't cloudflare?

    > Does anyone have suggestions for free DNS providers that support DNSSEC that aren't cloudflare? Host your own nameservers?

    > Does anyone have suggestions for free DNS providers that support DNSSEC that aren't cloudflare? my registrar defaults support dnssec

    > > Does anyone have suggestions for free DNS providers that support DNSSEC that aren't cloudflare? > Host your own nameservers? That's what I do, more or less. My VPS acts as a stealth primary, and all that the secondaries have to deal with are pre-signed zones, which is easy.

Running your own ns isn't that common, its usually too much effort. If you got a decent registrar there is almost no reason to do it other than to learn how to set one up... (and if you do not trust your registrar to do DNSSEC)

I think moparisthebest has a list of good registrars Count042 but none of them will be free

Thanks. I'd rather not host my own. I don't do dns or email for a variety of reasons. I'm willing to pay a reasonable fee. I found this from some googling. Thanks Polarian. >moparisthebest 4:50:52 PM >I use he.net, freedns.afraid.org, and puck.net for free secondaries. Oops not puck.net, meant https://puck.nether.net/dns/login

    np, good luck!
