    i’ve had my postfix SMTP server verify DANE records for a while now and haven’t had any issues there; i’m verifying with the ejabberd room whether or not it verifies DANE by default because I have a vague memory of having already discussed this and they said it does (in which case I haven’t had issues either)

    if you haven’t you should probably at least put some CAA records if you use lets encrypt for your TLS certs
