PSA: As already announced in March this year, we will eventually require MUC domains to publish abuse addresses via XEP-0157. Please double check that you publish your abuse contacts not only on your main domain, but also on the MUC domains.

Maranda, you're responsible for conference.lightwitch.org, right? If so, please see above. (also, I cannot reach conference.lightwitch.org right now, otherwise I would have pinged you in the support channel over there)

  3. luca

How can I double check this?

  4. search.jabber.network

luca, you can message xmpp:magicbot@magicbroccoli.de with `!contact your.muc.domain` and it will tell you the contacts it finds.

  5. luca

    Thanks!

  6. search.jabber.network

for Prosody users, we gave advice on how to enable it back then: https://fosstodon.org/@sjn/112021473036332119

  7. Menel

Maybe this module should be one of them that are auto loaded on components too, if loaded at all, like bidi et.al.

  8. MattJ

Menel, seems it already is, but didn't quite make 0.12.x: https://hg.prosody.im/trunk/rev/057ce005937e

  10. MattJ

Ignore me, it is in 0.12 already

  11. MattJ

0.12.0 was the first release with that feature, so any Prosody instance with contact info configured should already be serving it on MUC components
